Around is operated from Warsaw, Poland (support@getaround.app). By using Around, you agree to these terms.
What Around is
Around is a platform for discovering and joining small in-person social events in Warsaw. We provide the technology that connects hosts and guests – we do not organise, supervise, or participate in any events.
Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Around.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- One account per person.
What you agree not to do
- Post false, misleading, or harmful content.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
- Use the platform for commercial promotion without our consent.
- Share another user's home address with anyone not accepted to that event.
- Create fake accounts or impersonate other people.
- Scrape or misuse platform data.
Events and safety
Around does not conduct background checks on any user. All profile information is self-reported. Meeting strangers in person is at your own risk.
Hosts are responsible for their events – accuracy of information, safety on premises, and compliance with Polish law.
Guests must use a host's home address solely to attend the accepted event and must not share it with anyone else.
Your content
You own the content you post. By posting it, you allow Around to display it on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate anyone's rights.
Zero tolerance & moderation
Around has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. This includes harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, spam, and any content that is offensive, discriminatory, or illegal.
- You can report any event, message, or user directly in the app.
- You can block any user – their content disappears from your feed immediately and we are notified.
- We review every report within 24 hours, remove violating content, and eject users who post it.
To report a user or content, use the in-app report feature or email support@getaround.app.
Liability
Around is provided as-is. We are not liable for harm arising from in-person interactions between users, event cancellations, or user-provided content. Nothing excludes liability for our own negligence or fraud under Polish law.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by emailing support@getaround.app. Your data will be deleted from our systems.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you via email or in-app notification before material changes take effect. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Warsaw, Poland.
